It wasn't love, if you didn't miss your lover.

It wasn't love, if you didn't try to leave

 Also a smile on her face, 

Not only a kiss or a touch on her lips. 
 it wasn't love if you didn't feel the need 

To listen to her.

It wasn't love, if you didn't try

 To be a better version of yourself.  
You haven't loved yourself enough

 If you've never listened to your heart,

Your intuition, your thoughts so far.  
You didn't love yourself enough,

If you always needed validation from others.
You haven't loved yourself enough 

If you had a bad opinion of yourself,

 If you have never listened 

To your dreams, desires and words.
