I know I'm strong because I choose
 To bury the pain I can't heal.
To bury stories, people who don't belong to me,
 And to go on, with a smile instead of tears.  

I know I am strong,
 Because I have learned 
How to manage my own heart.

How much to love, how much to give, 
How to forgive, how to release,
What I need to keep 
And what I have to give up :
Smiles, dreams, whispers... also thoughts.

 I learned to turn my back
 When my presence no longer mattered.
 I learned to say Goodbye,
 Even from the first Hello.

  I know I'm strong because I've always
 Found the strength in me,
And I know how to make every tear that falls
 To sound like a poetic song.

Great piece, though I feel the words at the end should read poetic song instead of poetry song.
