I walk to the balcony and begin to see 
The sky like an ocean flowing
 From obove over my tears.
  Even the birds began to sing
 In solidarity with my tears and pain. 

 I would like you to look at it
 At the same time as me,
 And to make you feel my love
 Like two warm arms,
 Stretching like the branches of a tree 
Towards your cold shoulder, 
Over your cold mouth, 
Over your soft skin, 
Over you, my darling!

 I feel trapped in my freedom,
 I feel happy in this mixed feelings of sadness.
 I feel too small for this big world, 
I feel like a drop of hatred in this ocean of love. 

 The night rises and the day descends, 
The pain reaches every dry bone,
 Drowning my hope, 
Falling another tear in vain.

 You are probably safe at home, 
I am miles away from your mind.
  You're probably happy with what you have,
 I'm sad with what I can't have without...
