I have words stuck in my lungs, 
I have thoughts of you in my head. 
 I have questions about tomorrow 
And what will happen next.
 I had you, but it looks like you left.  

And I wonder again,
 Did I really lose you? 
 How can I bring you back? 
 Where can I find you?  

To find you as you once were, 
In love with me as I am now in love with you. 

 Tell me you will let your hand slide on my back,
 That you will not play with me
As I played with your mind.  
Believe me, I've changed, 
I'm not a child.
