I sit on the edge of the future Reminisce of the world that is further
I put the city on my rear view mirror
All the possibilities lay spread before me
The rhythm of another year 
Time has dimmed some memories
I want to reach back to a decade
Years have long faded
Traveling this world beyond all bounds
Time has slowly melted away Before me are rhythms of a modern life
Chance is more than life
An infinite river of time
A map of the future
The day is not yet done

askew
By day and by night
The night overtakes me 
Waiting for the passage of the day
Old and new mingles here
History and future will always be a part of me
Old ways are changing fast
A ravage of flood and time
The only future is defined by the past
