Its 3 am
Another Matchbox moment

Eyes dripped in torment
With a heart stuck in wet, drying cement.

A soul torn in two
Remembering past pain while current events are unfolding.

My gut feeling stopped working.
Now all I do is keep pacing.

Why do I always have to keep racing?
Trying to reach the finish line instatransmitting like Goku.

Patience is a virtue
I've finally grasped that concept.

The tortoise and the hair
With that, slow and steady wins the race concept.

Always in a rush.
Until I found out I needed to slow down.

The hard way
Hits like a wrecking ball.
