I can't command your heart to love me, 
I can't ask your hands to touch me.
 I can't tell your soul to be mine, 
I can't make your eyes see me any other way. 

 But I know that I should receive your love, 
But I know that I deserve your touch.
 I know that I can best understand your soul,
 But I know that I cannot make your eyes blind
 To see me the right way for me. 

 I was addicted to your wonderful lies,
 Desperately looking for a place
 In your heart to stay, 
But I never found my name engraved there, 
And that really made my soul bleed.
