Call me an old soul,
Wrought, forged by this dreary world.
Where hearts beating are sold,
Dreamers are caged, left cold.

Fan my belief of the brash, bold.
Those full of truth, who cannot be sold.
Keepers of dreams not yet told.
Locked within these souls they call old.

Call me an old soul,
A believer in the foretold.
Where angels did smite,
Sinners with heavens might.

A believer in breaking the human mold,
One who shall never have a price upon their soul?
In a changing world,
Call me an Old soul.
