What is it about our mortality
That always scares us so?
Why do we get so nervous
When the end is getting close?
We run around quite foolishly
Oblivious to the clock.
And stare in wide-eyed horror
As the clock comes to a stop.
I hear it said, “Living my best life”
But you only have one life to live.
It’s not about what you’ve got,
It’s more about what you give.
For the world has grown so harsh,
It’s changing our humanity.
Lets redefine our greatness with
Kindness, gentleness, and humility.
