To See You Again Read Count : 174

Not even death can scare me harder,
Than the thought of not being able
To see you again one day-  tomorrow.

I would ask heaven to let me pretend in a drop,
And sit on your shoulder and caress your skin for the last time - without seeing me there.

I would ask the sun's rays
To leave my kiss on your cheeks.
To make your cheeks red,
Giving you my warmth and strength.

Now I have no power to do anything,
I am just a pen that writes
What my heart dictates.

Not even death can scare me harder,
Than the thought of not being able
To see again your smiling.
