You did not fight for me, 

As you fight now for your lover.  

While I had the darkest days, 

For you, they were brilliant.  
Your love was a waste of time,

 Saying, "I love you" without meaning.

  You did not fight for me 

In the same way I fought,

 While you had the brightest days,

 I lived in the darkest place. 
 But it's ok darling, 

You shouldn't have done something

 You didn't feel for me.

But it's ok darling, 

Even if that's not how I felt. 

Even if we didn't feel the same way.
 You didn't fight for me

 And that hurt the most,

 The way you told me you loved me -

Was just a bad joke.
