I lost you when I didn't even have you. 
 I lost you when I didn't even find you.  
I lost you like the clouds lose their drops.
 I lost you when I had you in all my thoughts.  

I would cry, but I have no more tears.
I would laugh, but I have no more dreams.  
I would shout at you but I lost my voice, 
I might think you were coming back, 
But I have no hope anymore. 

 I lost you but I didn't recover,
 I lost you and I will never find you.
I would cry, but I have no more tears.
I would laugh, but I have no more dreams.
