I never knew what true love is,

 I spent time hugging, kissing, 

Touching other hands,

 But I never felt completely 

In harmony with myself.  
I never knew what the right behavior was, 

I always felt that I was missing

 The most important part inside my head - 
The right thoughts at the right times

 For the right person I belong to.

  Because sometimes, 

The right person is not the one we want.  
I didn't know that the love stories

 I imagined existed only in books,

 And that all my relationships 

Would end sadly too soon -

 Without trusting each other

As in the beginning.
I thought it was love

 But it was disappointment,

 I thought it was love

 But it was deception and tears. 
 I thought I was loved

 But I ended up being used.

 I thought I was loved 

But I was lied to too many times.
I thought it was love

 but there were blows,

 I thought it was love

 but it was indifference.  
I thought I was loved 

But I was nothing,

 I thought I was loved 

But it was only empty words.
