I do not expect you to be perfect, 
I ask you to be loyal. 
 Even the most beautiful flowers have thorns,
 But you already know that.  

I'm not asking you to be 
The way I want you to be, 
But I want you to be nice to me.  

I don't want you to cut your wings, 
I want to help you grow. 
 I don't ask you for anything
 You can't give me.

 Sometimes a sincere touch of the hand
 Does more than a thousand words
 Said without meaning.
