We loved each other in different ways, 
I saw you more than a friend, 
I was just a friend to you. 
 Different feelings between different hearts. 
Could I still believe that 
It could be different sometime?  

I know that love can be changeable, 
But seeing the sun's rays playing in your eyes
 Makes me fall in love more, 
Waiting for them to dry the tears in my eyes.  

I swear I thought you could love me differently,
 But your heart took on another love.  
I know we love each other, 
But we do it in different ways...
And my heart is dry now.
