I've abandoned my faith,
I've thrown it away,
I've given up,
Now you're in my way;
I've already lost hope,
I've sold my soul,
Yet here you are again,
Taking control;
Of my life,
Of my mind,
I've given up on my goals,
You shriveled my paper heart,
When I thought it was whole.
