It had to be a different story,

Than the one that ended brutally

 Under my bloody heart. 
 You should have loved me at least half

 Of how much I loved you.

  But I already know that love has no measure,

 And my eyes cannot control the river of tears

 That descends to the heart -

That barely beats through my sifted tears.
  You have a special glow, 

A beauty beyond the eyes. 

You have a secret place where you keep

 A part of my heart in yourself.
 Maybe you don't even need it 

Because you're already in love

 With someone new or old,

 I don't even want to know.
  It had to be a different story,

 The wonderful story I imagined as child.  

But ours ended far too quickly 

Under the love we did not live at time.
