How sweet it sounds
 From the mouth of the person you love: 
"I belong to you as you belong to me, my love." 

 Sometimes we need a confirmation, 
A safe place to feel accepted.
We need comfort when the soul
 Becomes too heavy to carry alone. 

 How important it is to hear 
A few words said out of concern: 
"Take care of yourself, my love."  

Days, weeks, years go by 
And we don't make enough time,
 To utter words that can heal
The heart of the person about we care.

Take time, so that you have
 No reason to regret it later.
 Show the person you love
 How important it is to you.
