I found solace in her
But she could no longer be mine
I am not sure if am interested 
She has been taken already
I couldn't rise to the challenge
I have nothing to offer
They have everything to offer
I couldn't stand a chance against them
 
I found solace in her

Brain tells me to move on
Heart tells me to stay behind 
Am confused which way to go 

She could no longer be mine
I couldn't bring myself to admit
