Your gaze was like an arrow
 That went through my thoughts.
Breaking my heart into many pieces,
 Leaving my eyes in the darkest place.  

The hug was like salt pressed
 Over the deepest wound,
 Stinging when your shoulders 
Came off my tightly held arms. 

 Your mouth was like a spring of water 
From which I drank when I was thirsty. 
 Memories are like a hurricane, 
Leaving me trembling and weakened.
