Love has left my heart cold many times,
 Like a falling star- hitting the ground.  

And not because I didn't care, 
It was because I cared too much
 About the wrong person for whom
 I felt true love many times. 

 Disappointments made me move away
 From certain people, 
And made me stop believing
 In meaningless words passing through my ears.

  I leave the silence of those
 Who did not appreciate my words.
I leave my heart closed for those 
Who hurt me enough. 

 I leave my arms folded
 For those who hit my soul.
 I leave the space free for those
 For whom I did not count in their lives.
