You were the sweetest song I sang 
Until you made me forget the lyrics.  
You had the sweetest smile 
Until you forbade me to see it again. 

 But I have to admit that your voice
 Still runs through my mind, randomly,
 And my heartbeat speeds up - 
Freezing my breathing. 

 You were the reason I wrote daily, 
But now I'm trying to erase
 Your name from the letters
 I'd like to send you anyway.

  I was talking about you
 With my friends for hours on the phone, 
Until I started not answering anyone's calls. 

 You were the greatest desire
 That brought me closer to God, 
And I was disappointed to see 
That you were no longer around.
