It escalated quickly. 
Overnight, not only the voice of the people, but their livelihood was as well was stolen from them. 
The kings decided to place new rules in the kingdom, despite the fact that they couldn't enforce their already existing rules properly. 
The kings demanded no sexual humor, as it was offensive.
The kings demanded no violence, as it was offensive.
The kings demanded no language that people wouldn't like, as that was offensive as well.
The kings demanded no promotion of drugs, as that appeared to offend people too.
And finally, the kings demanded no speak of sensitive subjects or events. This included speak of war, political conflicts, natural disasters and tragedies, because that too was offensive.

The people broke out into an outrage, some leaving this world entirely, others making out crys against such terribleness. Most of the people were at risk of losing their jobs. Many of the people depended on these subjects and speaking this way, however the kings didn't care.
With all of the other injustices the kings had made, people wondered if it was the end. The kingdom was already on the verge of falling apart, but now this?
