When I hear that someone has died,
I wonder when it will be my turn?
When I hear that someone has died,
My blood freezes my figure.

When I hear that someone has died,
I imagine God has a list
And cuts from there one by one,
Until He finds my name,
Written by His hand.

 It may take a day,
An hour, ten years or a second,
Until I run out of air,
Leaving my body empty.

When I hear that someone has died,
 I think of my parents.
Even if they are not old,
 I worry about them.

When I hear that someone has died,
 I become sad.
Death can strike hard,
Making the heart burn.
