I spilled my blood on the inkwell
To contour your thin lips.
From the reflection of my shadow,
I made for you a coat,
To protect your tender flesh.

I shed tears in my pen
To rinse your eyes in the morning.
From your smile I made a bridge,
To reach happiness through my salty smiling.

I poured my thoughts over your pinched lips,
Healing them with my warm breath.
I left your hand in my palm,
Catching your fingers between my tired flesh.

I let my voice read you stories,
Pouring my love into your veins.
I spilled my blood on the inkwell
To contour your thin lips.
