You are afraid of pain, 
That's why you are never ready to love.
  You are afraid that you will fall anyway, 
That's why you don't trust yourself more.

  You are afraid that you will be lied to,
 So you start to control this partner as well. 
 You are afraid that you will fail, 
That's why you don't even want to try again.  

You are afraid of disappointing others,
 But you forget that you can be 
The most disappointed by your wrong attitude. 

 You are afraid and I can understand, 
 But you have to live freely, 
Do not get stuck in the dark.
