I would like to be the palm 
That stops the fist of those who strike.
  I would like to be the smile 
That dries the tears from other cheeks.  

I would like to be the dream 
That keeps alive those who want
To kill themselves, when they no longer find
  Their purpose in life.  

I would like to be the medicine
 That can cure any disease.
I would like to be the rope
 That could connect 
The world to humanity. 

 I would like to see compassion 
For animals as well.
Face-to-face communication,
 Not only by phone. 

 It is possible to have bad dreams, 
But it would be wonderful if everyone
 Can make a change -
 To make this world a better place to live in.
