One day I will wake up smiling, 

Without knowing that it will be -

 The last sunrise that my eyes 

Will be able to see.
  I will tell my loved ones 

"See you later",

Without knowing that I will 

Never see them again.  
One day I will leave, without luggage,

 And all the imprints on my soul will be erased.

 Maybe I will feel free, maybe I will be 

Caught in the cage like a prisoner. 
 One day I will wake up for the last time 

And I won't even know...

 

I hope that then my soul 

Will continue to live through my poems,

 Without needing my face or my body around it.
