I just need one person
To hug me and not let go for a good min.
But when I get silent
I don't reach first
Then they put all these posts up
And I hate myself more and more
For the way I am.
Being so silent is never the plan.
Why is there never a hand?
Really hard to pull myself out a pit
Deeper than I am tall.
Sometimes I feel small
A little pebble
Waiting to be tossed in a river
*clunk, clunk, splash*
I'm lost in my head
The voices scream, "You'd be better off dead."
I choose to not listen again
But they never stop temptin'
Lost my footing
Held onto what I was holding
And let go as I was falling.
Now its hard to keep finding.
All I know is I gotta keep walking
No matter how often my insides start tormenting.
