When I remember you
I feel that cold morning chill again
Sitting on the deck by the camper
Smoking another cigarette.
When I remember you
I remember the first time I jumped in the lake with nothing but my boxers
There was so many leaches.
Removing them all took ages.
When I remember you
Nothing else matters.
Every time I'm talking to someone
Paradise keeps calling my name.
When I remember you
You're just a shadow in my mind now
I forgot I was waiting
Lost myself in always replacing.
When I remember you
My heart starts racing again
Even out and about with friends
I find myself having to leave.
