Telling myself to breath
I had to take time...
I needed to know...
When I fell, if it was truly with my 💖?
Or
Did you just come so quick that when I grabbed you, I fell with my mind?
This space between us is causing me to fall back in line...
Is everyone around me missing my time?
Do you miss this voice at night?
Wondering if this carries anymore worth to come back?
Or
Have you noticed there's less stress when I'm not your focus?
Because I care for you, I'll be to blame as to why this is broken...
You've said you want it
Promised love is what you feel
But I can't keep you near
My hold doesn't last
It's not long before your running to what we'll call your last
I needed you
Use to your touch
Those words only you spoke, that had changed me so much
Now
I can't connect myself to the place we once both wanted to be
Should I fight?
Should I allow it to be?
It seems as I closed off
You didn't knock on my door
And for that
Maybe you fell with your mind
Because a heart opens arms
