I have to pretend I forgot you, 
I have to pretend I'm fine. 
 I have to pretend I don't love you,
 I have to pretend I don't care.

  Locked in my room,
 I can't get out of bed. 
 The loneliness like a shiver 
Runs through my veins.

  I drank all the heavy words
 We said to each other.
You left while I was left alone 
Without you, baby.

  I have to pretend to be the same, 
I have to pretend to love again.
I have to pretend I don't care.
 
It's hard to pretend you don't care,
When you still have feelings 
For someone you love.
