You caught that power over me,

 To make me happy even when I'm crying. 

You have that power over me,

 That makes me stronger even when I am dying. 
 If you leave, I'll get you. 

 Don't let me die in the darkness of the night. 

 Wipe my cold breath from your little nostrils, 

And put your sweet kiss on my bitter lips.
  You have taken that power 

To control my mind,

And to know exactly 

How my heart feels for you.
 You have the power to make me happy

 When wounds flow from my tears.

 You have the power 

To breathe fresh air into my lungs ill.
