I am priceless.

I know who I am.
I know what I'm not.
Your opinion used to hold the weight of the world in my mind. Your opinion mattered to me. 
Your opinion of me has absolutely nothing to do with my worth.
You made me believe that you were something I had to earn when I was the one you should have fought to keep. 
You gave me every single reason to leave you, and I begged you to stay. 
You tore me down with every word you spoke and I built you up with every breath I took. 
You avoided me like I was the plaque when I was the cure. 
I'm sorry I fooled myself into believing that being treated this way was okay. 
I'm sorry I forgot my worth when I was making sure you never forgot yours. 
The only difference between then and now, is that you will have to watch me succeed from a farther distance away.
I deserved better. 
I deserved the world even when you wouldn't let me into yours. 
And now I'll never let you forget. 
That I am priceless regardless of how much I don't mean to you anymore.
