The sweetest, most delicious thing she happened to see
As she passed by the window of the shop filled with candy
The only one of its kind
Thrilled her little mind
At the thought of savoring it
But then reality hit
As she was pulled away from her reverie
Being dragged into misery
Her pleading cries were ignored
No more to be heard
The one thing she desired most in the world
Is no longer in store
For she saw a tall black figure take the only thing
That made her heart truly sing
Never to be seen in this lifetime again
