You live through my memories
More alive than anyone could.
You block my breath, 
Making me breathe the air of your blue mood. 

 I see you through my dreams, 
Through the darkness of your drunken shadow. 
 I hear your lungs breathing
 Through the burning cigarette. 

 I listen to your words 
Even if you don't speak to me.
They are words that cannot be erased
 With a gray sponge from my bones.  

You were more than I had asked for, 
We were both breathing through the same scent.
  I was in love like only a few were able to, 
From the color red, my heart turned blue.
