We are so close, 
But not close enough...
 To keep your lips warm 
Through my warm breath. 

 Maybe if you took the first step,
 I would do the second.
 Like in a dance, 
Where no one knows the lesson. 

 I would like to break
 The space between your skin and my lip, 
And let you flow slowly
 Through my veins. 

We are so close
But not close enough 
To kiss you without hesitation, 
To keep my arms warm. 

 Maybe if you touch my hand, 
You will feel me tremble,
 Waiting for your humble kiss, 
Biting your tongue.
