Guides to the labrynth
Electric city like a maze
Huge gigantic walls encasing us
Every street or road making us more lost
Lost and alone with so many people around us
The city will consume us till we die.

I was completely lost, till I found you
In a small cafe you were seated
Straight away you cought my eye
Like an angel I flew to your rescue
Took you high up to my skyline apartment
There we was together as one
Every night and every day.
The lift up and down was too dangerous to use
It's bottom just had two planks of wood
All the others missing
So we always used the stairs
I prayed our times together would last...

One morning I awoke alone and cold
I searched the cafe where we first met
But you wasn't there
Spent the night alone.
I decided to find you again somehow.

When morning came I went looking for you
Walked every street I knew
Then walked down others I never been on before
Just in the off chance I bumped into you
Carried on walking till the sunset
Then realised I was so lost
So lost and so alone
In a city with streets like a labrynth
A city that's so busy and goes on forever
I was lost and alone
In a city so filled with people.
