I would like to take away your pain 
To suffer on my own.
But you know it's impossible
 And I really can't.

  I am numb
 When I can't make you smile.
 Even if I want to heal your soul,
 With the most wonderful smile.

 I would like to lift you up,
 And not allow anyone to touch you.
But it would be too selfish
And you deserve to be treated rightly.

  I would like to show you 
How much I care.
 If tears come out of my eyes, 
Please try to ignore them.

  I want to cry,
 I want to love.
 I want to be the lips
 You want to feel above your tongue.
