      When a peaceful protest in my hometown began to go south, with protestors getting out of hand, looting a store over the death of a black man not even from here, I didn't believe it. I chalked it up as more fear mongering from the media. That is, until I soon discovered that it wasn't locals causing all the trouble, but a group of people not even from here. I found myself shaking my head in disbelief, though at the same time, not surprised at all. 

     They venture from city to city, from protest to protest, to let out their frustrations against our political ideals and broken system, but not in any way that would get anything done. They are the movement known as Anti-fa (or Anti-Fascist). 

     They have been assaulting people and blocking speeches for years with relatively little condemnation. Unless, of course, destroying the towns, communities and small businesses within their own hometown is what they want. This hypocritical group flourishes within environments where any criticism is denounced as being reflective of "racist" or "fascist sentiments"—basically whatever they deem not politically-correct. (And they claim not to be liberals?)

     Scott Crow, a former Antifa organizer involved for almost 30 years, said members use violence as a means of self-defense and they believe property destruction does not equate to violence. 

     He stated, "There is a place for violence. Is that the world that we want to live in? No. Is it the world we want to inhabit? No. Is it the world we want to create? No. But will we push back? Yes."

     Well apparently, Crow is a either a jackass or has no idea what he's involved with, because based on their own actions, a world of violence is exactly where they want to live or inhabit. 

     They can’t even see the most obvious contradiction within their movement. Members dress in matching, all-black attire, wearing masks to cowardly hide their own identities, marching in a militant fashion while using unnecessary violence to demonstrate their opposition to political ideals they don't agree with. 

     There is no distinction between these protesters and the fascists they claim to be resisting. They hold up signs saying "F--k Free Speech" and have threatened to beat up anyone taking their pictures, including journalists. They seem blissfully ignorant of the contradiction in using fascistic tactics as anti-fascist protesters. After all, a leading definition of fascism is "a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control."

     Antifa is nothing more than a movement of pan-left radical politics uniting communists, socialists, anarchists and various different radical leftists together for the shared purpose of combating the far right.

     Mark Bray speaks positively of the effort to supplant traditional views of free speech: "At the heart of the anti-fascist outlook is a rejection of the classical liberal phrase... that says I disapprove of what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it." 

     He defines anti-fascists as "illiberal" who reject the notion that far right views deserve to "coexist" with opposing views. Bray also says that the protesters do not "see fascism or white supremacy as a view with which they disagree as a difference of opinion." Their goal is not co-existence but "to end their politics." 

     Bray and other academics are "liberating" university students from the confines of what they deem the false "allegiance to liberal democracy." Once freed of the values of free speech and democratic values, violence becomes merely politics by other means.

     I happen to agree with there needing to be a liberation from such allegiances, both liberal and conservative, but by no means will I ever be a part of such an idiotic hypocrisy, such as Antifa. Nor, would I ever partake in violent measures as a way of protesting. 

     Many commentators have stated that groups such as Antifa and Black Lives Matter have become infiltrated, where many are on George Soro's Open Society Foundation payroll. These individuals are paid to venture from protest to protest and cause mayhem—all sponsored by the Democratic National Convention. We are beginning to see a revamp of an old conspiratorial race war, being instigated by young, angry and uneducated males—mostly non-white. 

     To further push this point, I'll let them do the honors. Antifa members believe that history shows the dangers of free speech and the need to deny it to those who would misuse it. It is a familiar sentiment that "all the experience... accumulated through several decades teaches us... to deprive the reactionaries of the right to speak and let the people alone have that right." Those were the words of another early anti-fascist, China's Communist Party leader Mao Zedong. 

     Should Antifa be labeled as a "terrorist organization?"

     If it will put an end to their hypocritical tactics, then Yes, indeed.
