Our Illusioned Prison Read Count : 147

Chasing after a snowy blur

Tracks lead to a burrowed shelter

Broken clocks work just as well

When staring down into the gates of hell

Fallen deep into an endless schism

Leaving behind this third-rate dimension

Where our true nature forms a union

Of a third eye where reality gouges in

Days clouded by atrophied perceptions

From calcified and civilized conventions

Trapped within a cinematic construct of misery

We ask how we couldn't see our modern slavery

With amazed ambiguity we peer into the mind

All comprehension of the old becomes left behind

Finding ourselves within a computer-generated prison

A simulation born from our latent hesitation

Forced to conform from our myopic outlook

To a bio mechanical world void of all loot

A lost, hopeless and spurious detention

Centered within arranged material deception

Locked into the fear of an endless wintry scene

While all are surveyed by an elite of the unseen

A new way of life hindering our conducive reality

Hiding the true intention of turning away from the tragedy

Reverse-engineered from humans to rats of the Earth

Prodded, tested and studied in a lab since birth

Lost in a labyrinth of an unseen census-taker

Is this world really of a divine Creator?

Since the dawning of light we've been herded

To keep this world forever inverted

Where official narratives are discovered to all be lies

And whatever the absolute bears a disguise

More to confuse the mindless sheep

Keeping every answer buried deep

No heavenly gates await our future address

Only a one-way ticket back into this mess.
