Another coffin closed
To the sound of memories playing. 
Tears falling,
Burning,
Dispiriting,
Exhausting.

Days cannot keep up 
With the tolling of bells.
Nah, a hug came yesterday
Just to miss out on farewell.

Can God ease off my heart
Or is this tightness
A disease eating me alive,
Hidden by unscathed flesh?
