I wish I was there, 
Celebrating your success. 
I wish I was there, 
Wiping your sadness, 
From the air you were taking 
My last breathing.  

I would have liked to be your favorite book 
That made you lose the number of sheets you read.
I would have wanted to be your favorite coffee
 That made your heartbeat running deep

 I wanted to be there, 
To be able to hug me when you felt bad.  
I wish I was there, 
Always there for you. 

 But I waited for a call, 
Which never came.
 I waited for you to call my name, 
But you were never there for myself.
