This is a poem about a little cat called high five. He was called that because he loved to high five. Read the book I made about him. And this is a poem about his journey.

Cats have nine lives,
And this one speciallizes in high fives,
He went around the country,
Eating what they call munchies,
And got stolen, trapped and beated,
In a van that got very heated,
Then came out very odd,
Eating a sicked-up piece of cod,
And went off to the circus,
And then people shouted show us!
Show that that cat can do high fives
And beat up his nine lives!
So they beated him up
And then made him meet a pup
That put up his paw
That looked very raw
The cat high fived
Then scratched out his live
But the crowd did not cheer
They look very queer
They left in a hurry
Like they've ate hot curry
They let the cat escape
Because it looked very late
And high five crossed the street
And ran up and down the wheat
Looking for an owner
That would take care of this loner
But all he found was an empty home
And one or two that said no
But no one else live up here
In an old wheat field that hadn't even had a tear.
Finally, someone let him in!
Down the highway and across the inn.
She was a fair-headed girl
That looked alone
And let him inside
Under the fire's warm side
And now he lives there
An old tabby that high fives the air
Who is as blind as a bat
And I know that
Because I live with him too
Yes that's right, I live with him too.
