Footprints In The Snow

walk down an empty street, the snow rains down in slience as the street lights beaming down on what was once a road. Beautiful and slient as I pause under a light looking around as the ground is brighter than the sky. The wind blows a small whisper as grows colder, my fingers feel numb to the icy chill air. Snow flakes cover my shoulders as breath is my only movement, the wind growls an icy roar feeding into the storm behind me. Snow fades the footprints behind me, I can't turn back. Days from now the snow will melt and my footprints with it. Not forgotten, but seasons change.
