Your wet palms touch my face slowly,
Then I touch your fingers with my cold breath.

My fingers caress your red cheeks,
You prefer to close your eyes, than to interrupt
This special moment between us.

I catch you on my chest,
And we move in dance rhythm;
Slowly, slowly,
I follow every step you move.

Put your head on my shoulder,
Turn off the light.
Turn on the stars,
And let them play among our beautiful hearts.

    I just read this to my mom and she said, "Awww, she is a mama writing about her baby," and I thought, Hmmm: its a matter of perspective, I saw lovers, she saw a child. This is good writing my friend it stirs the heart.
