What color am I
From the deep ocean blue to the golden sky

In my mind
I’m out of my mind

My sea is violet
Free from unknown silhouettes

What color am I
From the me evergreen trees to the red evening sun falling from the sky

What color
Oh darling what color

Would I be
If one color were to be me

Chaos in shades of blue
Violet in visions of something borrowed and new

My sun would be orange red
And the evergreen trees

Is where I would be
After I walked out of my mastermind head

I’m almost sixteen
And I’ve written about two hundred songs

Seeing right through me
And forgiving my wrongs

I am defined
By all the movies and songs I love

I am defined
By all the small bit beautiful things I love

Dear colorless sky
What color am I

Even though my land
Has a beach of white sand

I’m still wondering what color I am
And it’s not like I can put myself through a spiritual scan

But I think I’m violet
Myself
Is the person
I finally met

Truthful
Faithful
Soulful
And beautiful

Even through the rain
And passed the pouring down rain

That gut wrenching feeling
Made me blow the roof off my ceiling

Oh colorless sky
Of mine
What color
Am I
