Softly tumblingAnd so they cameThere was naught a rumblingSome were coloured as if aflameA carpet grew upon the EarthSoft and mellow colours allTo feed the birthOh how they fall one and allSummers leaves lay thick and thinThe smile of Mother shines in springBeneath the surface they lay withinAnd from the Earth they would springStretching upward they would striveTo break free was the aimWith the Sun they would surviveSurvival, it was the gameIt is Mothers master planFrom last years seedsNew life beganThe cycle will proceedAd infinatum© Hamish McKenna
