You came like a rainbow 
After a torrid summer rain. 
I wanted nothing more than your love. 

You painted sunbeams in my eyes, 
Many colors, beautiful love. 
You appeared as the sun 
That get lost long after the clouds, 
Turned my bitter tears into precious smiles. 

You whisper to my ear:
" Don't be afraid!"
 To feel me safe in your warm arms.

 Get in the car and let us drive
 To the top of the city, above all. 
Here I can feel alive, 
Following my heart was the best decision. 

The darkness covers the whole city,
 I get lost until you found me.
 I will be there, 
When everything around us will shake, 
I will be there, to support your hand. 

Because, about everything that terrifies you, I am not afraid. 
You gave me your strength
 And made the weakness disappear. 
Now, it's my turn to give you
 The protection you need.
