What is the moment you realize?
That life is not always what it seems.
Things come and go
Past becomes memories 
Understanding moves to wisdom
Darkness is familiar and molds into gray
Youth has decayed into waves
Sight is unreliable 
Death a friend that has a date
Yet endure
For what you ask?
That which you have learned 
Is but dust in the wind
Floating away on a trip of sway
All you know and all you are
Is a star amount the heavens
Filling the sky with a blanket of holes
Yet endure
